DOMS POLASTAR - a.c.s. assist image reproduction system, NEW!

Description

# DOMS POLASTAR - a.c.s. assist*
# The device disposes of a new revolutionary physical fundamental principle for image reproduction.
# DOMS POLASTAR - a. c. s assist: (absolutely computerized semi-image separation)
# New developed achromatic Lambda foil optimizes the DOMS POLASTAR display for the reproduction of LCD optotypes.
# So far, the principles applied for the reproduction of optotypes have been based on divison of components according to the main polarizing direction of the LCD monitor. DOMS POLASTAR uses the original of a semi image (45°), whereas the second semi image is rotated by 90° by means of a special achromatic Lambda foil
# Usually, there occur so-called ghosts at the LCD display with the so far applied physical separation procedures. The term “Ghosts” refers to images which are
# actually invisible for the eye. These ghosts have their origin in the fact that the polarisation alone can not realise a sufficient separation of semi images for the human eye.
# DOMS POLASTAR - a.c.s. assist* With the a. c. s. assist (absolutely computerized semi-image separation) it is possible to make those ghosts invisible with a controllable additional method.
# DOMS POLASTAR - a.c.s. assist* High brightness of optotypes (>150 cd/m²) according to DIN NORM ISO 8596 80 –320 cd/m² are prescribed
# Field-proven selection of otptotypes, fast noiseless test change
# Contrast levels for optotypes – gradually selectable in 5 % steps from 5 to 100%
# variable test distance
# MKH** test sequence
