Description

Lea Symbols Distance Visual Acuity Charts #250250

The non-translucent LEA Symbols chart #250250 is the original folding distance chart for preschool and kindergarten children and for assessment of vision of persons with difficulties in testing based on letters or numbers. It was designed in 1976 as one of the LEA Vision Test System tests to assess visual acuity. This test was printed first in Finland, later in the United States since the early 1990s. It is used in vision screening and in assessment of visual functioning of infants, children and adults in numerous countries. The version #250220 is a modification without folding and without the black reverse side for vision screening in places where the chart is kept on a wall. During assessment of individuals with impaired vision of any age, this chart can be used at longer or shorter distances, even as a near vision test when visual acuity is very low. Standard testing distance is 3 m (10 feet).
